I wanted to add my two cents, I'm not gunna tear anyone a new butt hole like she did lmao
However I do agree that there are a lot of arrogant artists on this site, to be fair if you have the skills to pays the bills then you are well within your rights to look in the mirror and lick your lips and tell yourself how awesome you are and that you are the shit with your incredible amount of pageviews or whatever.. but, it does become a problem when you think you're so awesome people will like whatever you pull outta yer ass, na uh.. nope. There are however some really humble artists who are also DA heavy weights and focus on their art rather than popularity and attention and those are the people whose art I watch and enjoy.

I mean, I've really noticed that DA is becoming less about the art and more about stats. Now with that said one shouldn't be made to feel guilty for having a high pageview count or faves. The major problem with stats is that they do NOT accurately reflect your artistic talent or skill, what stats do is simply indicate how much of an audience you have managed to attract. But I digress, really I just wanted to say no matter what level you're at, you should humble yourself, respect others, accept criticism and the fact that you'll never be perfect and as such listen to what people have to say to you.

What shits me in particular(no offense if this applies to you) is when someone gives an "artist's description" like "...." or "." ---- To me that's saying, "what I've done is too good for words, I needn't waste any of my time communicating or explaining what the hell this is, what it is for or how I made it, you will simply like it and enjoy it because I am me, and I posted it" This is even more frustrating when the artwork being viewed is an exellent artwork, because I have many questions which will go unanswered due to lack of a description =/
